CLASSES

All of our classes are full-body workouts oriented towards the female physique and a healthy spine. Here in the class description you will find the special features of the individual classes.

We offer dynamic group workouts, so the training is only suitable for healthy women and women with mild posture problems. Our training is not suitable for you if, among other things, you suffer from constant and / or massive pain, have serious illnesses, have injuries, you are pregnant (we offer Baby-Glow-Fitness online for this), or have recently had an operation. New mothers can only participate 6 months after the birth and when the diastasis recti has completely healed.

This class uses a Pilates apparatus called Springboard for a well rounded full-body workout. It is excellent for targeted abdominal and back strengthening and by using the resistance of the springs we can sculpt even better the waist, the inner thighs and the hamstrings.

If you are new to working out, I reccommend to start with this class.

Compared to Barre, Pilates Springboard does not have the cardio element and the class is a little quieter. However, it is an ideal complement to Barre especially when it comes to the lower body exercises. Barre focuses mainly on glutes and quadriceps, whereas only with Pilates Springboard class can you train your (so often forgotten) inner thighs and hamstrings.
Pilates and Aerial Yoga Fusion class is very similar to Pilates Springboard class, only the stretching at the end is different. After the 40-minute full-body Pilates training on the Pilates Springboard equipment, 10 minutes of aerial yoga enjoyment follow: hang upside down to stretch the spine and relieve the intervertebral discs, then stretch the leg muscles, and then fall into wonderful relaxation while lying and swinging in the aerial yoga hammock. “Like in a cloud!” said a customer. Once you have taken this class, you will know exactly what she meant.

IMPORTANT! Hanging upside down is only for very healthy people!
Please omit inversions if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, eye pressure or glaucoma or if you have had a botox injection in the past 72 hours.
Advise your doctor and inform us if you have pain, injuries, any chronic desease, diabetes, heart, circulatory, spine or organ problems.

All exercises are done with a pair of dumbbells. Ideally with 3 kg, but since we are all on „post-lockdown“ level, you can also use 0.5 kg, 1 kg or 1.5 kg weights to start with.

We beginn with a mat Pilates abdominal and back session, followed by an intensive leg and glute workout. We shape our lower body through many different Squats & Lunges. This is followed by another round of core-focused Pilates exercises, and of course a cool-down stretch at the end.

Barre is a dynamic and sculpting workout, combining Pilates, ballet and cardio inspired moves with great music, totally focused on our female physique (glutes, legs, abdominals and waist)! We start on the ballet bar with glute and leg exercises, then arm training with bands and dumbbells weighing 0.5 – 1.5 kilograms and ending on the mat with Pilates abdominal and back exercises and stretching. 

Compared to Pilates Springboard and Pilates and Aerial Yoga Fusion class, it is done mostly standing and in a faster pace.
35 minutes of sculpting Barre workout: glute and leg training on the ballet bar, combined with Pilates abdominal and back training on the mat. Then 15 minutes of revitalizing yoga flow to stretch after a great workout!

  • Valid for 3 months from the 1st class you attended.
  • If you have become pregnant or have moved from Basel and still have open hours – you are welcome to pass them on to a friend of yours, for example, and she can use up the remaining classes in the same time frame.
  • No refund.

  • Valid for 4 months from the 1st class you attended.

• Go to our course schedule and choose the class of your choice.

• Choose the product with which you would like to book this class, for example trial class, drop-in (= single class that you have already attended) or a block.

• If the desired date is fully booked, I recommend you put yourself on the waiting list. As soon as a place becomes available, you will receive a push notification from the Eversports app. Whoever books the class first gets the place. So don’t be afraid of the waiting list, you won’t be automatically placed in front. It is important to allow push notifications from the Eversports app, otherwise you will not receive a message about the space that has become free.

• Please take with you: towel, clean socks, water bottle and in cold weather a warm sweater as we have to ventilate regularly during and after the class. Thank you!

• Please clean the equipment and mat thoroughly after training.

• We provide: mats, small and large props.

• Please come at least 10 minutes early. The class starts on time and “late arrivals” disrupt the class flow considerably.

• If you are doing Pilates & Aerial Yoga Fusion: hanging upside down is only recommended for very healthy people. If you are unsure, please contact me by email.

• New mums and customers who want to start more slowly or who may have slight posture problems (such as slight back problems) should only start with the Pilates Springboard class. Thank you!
